Denver Moving – (five items not to pack for the movers)
There is so much to think about when packing and moving. Denver Moving company Road Scholars Moving & Storage has compiled a short list of five items not to pack when moving.
- Flammable items (chemicals, propane tanks, etc)
- Liquids (cooking oils/vinegars, cleaning supplies, etc)
- Valuable such as jewelry, collections (coin, sports cards, etc)
- Valuable artwork
- Important paperwork such as birth certificates, tax information, social security cards, i.d. cards
These items are best personally carried by yourself. Put liquids in a cleaning caddy. Place important paperwork in a bin or box labeled clearly “Confidential Papers”. Prepare and pack all artwork/jewelry in crates and or boxes. Place all of these contents in your personal vehicle so that you can access these items easily upon arrival of your new home. It is best not to transport flammable items, either dispose of them prior to your upcoming move or use special safety precautions when moving them.
